What you receive

A kitchen or bath drawing set settles the details that usually get decided on site: where the outlets go, how the tile lands and which way the floor slopes to the drain.

Planned to the inch

In a kitchen or bath a couple of inches decide whether a room works. These are the rules we draw to.

Design notesKitchen & bath
  1. Room to work

We plan kitchen walkways at about 42 inches for one cook and 48 inches for two, the clearances recommended by the National Kitchen & Bath Association.

  2. Water stays where it belongs

Every shower is waterproofed with one manufacturer’s complete system and flood-tested for 24 to 72 hours, with dated photos, before tile goes down.

  3. Light where you need it

Task lighting at the vanity and under the cabinets, so faces and counters are lit without shadows.

  4. Plumbing decided early

Moving a sink, toilet or shower is decided in the plan, with licensed plumbers, so the cost is known before work starts.

KB-5How We WorkSheet 5 of 7

How a design comes together

  1. Free consultation

We walk the space with you, listen to what you want and measure everything. The consultation costs nothing.

  2. Measure & locate

The room is measured and the existing plumbing, wiring and walls are located, so the new layout starts from what’s really there.

  3. Concept & 3D

Sketches become a 3D model you can turn, compare materials in and see the light in, before anything is built.

  4. Drawings & proposal

A clear drawing set and a written, line-by-line proposal with scope, schedule and payment milestones. Any change is agreed in writing first.

  5. Built by the same team

The team that drew it builds it, ending with a final walkthrough together and a 1-year workmanship warranty on our installation.

Common questions

Q.01

How much does a bathroom remodel cost?

It depends on the size of the room, whether plumbing moves, the tile you choose and the waterproofing system. After a free site visit we give you a written, line-by-line proposal with the price, schedule and payment milestones, so you know the cost before any work starts.

Q.02

How long does a bathroom remodel take?

Most full bathroom remodels take about 3–4 weeks on site. That leaves time for drywall to dry, a 24–72 hour flood test of the shower, new flooring to acclimate, and custom shower glass to be made after final measurements.

Q.03

How do you make sure a tile shower won’t leak?

Every shower gets one complete manufacturer waterproofing system: pan, membrane, seams, corners and drain from the same maker, installed to their instructions. Before any tile goes on, we flood-test the shower for 24–72 hours and give you dated photos of the test.

Q.04

Do you work in condos and HOA buildings?

Yes. We follow your HOA’s rules for work hours and common areas, protect floors and hallways, and clean up every day. For upper-floor units we can install acoustic underlayment to cut noise to the unit below.

Q.05

Is the consultation really free?

Yes. We walk the space with you, listen to what you want and measure everything, and the consultation costs nothing.
