Frequently asked questions

How we price, schedule, permit and stand behind our work, in one place. Questions about a specific job are answered on its own service page.

FAQ-2Getting started

Getting started

How do I get started?

Request a free consultation online or call us at (720) 581-7072. We walk the space with you, listen to what you want and measure everything, then send a written proposal.

Is the consultation really free?

Yes. We walk the space with you, listen to what you want and measure everything, and the consultation costs nothing.

What areas do you serve?

Denver and the surrounding area.

Do you work on homes and commercial buildings?

Both. We build and remodel homes, from custom homes to kitchens and bathrooms, and commercial spaces, from new construction and remodeling to facilities maintenance.

Can you design it and then build it?

Yes. The same team that draws your plans builds them, so the design you approve is the one that gets built, and questions on site are answered by the people who drew it. See Design.

FAQ-3Pricing & payments

Pricing & payments

How much will my project cost?

It depends on the size of the space, what changes and the materials you choose. After a free site visit we give you a written, line-by-line proposal with the price, schedule and payment milestones, so you know the cost before any work starts.

How do payments work?

Payments are tied to finished milestones listed in your proposal, so you’re never far ahead of the work.

What happens if you find a problem behind the walls?

We stop, show you what we found and write it up as a change order before any extra work begins. No surprise bills and no verbal add-ons, and any allowance you don’t use is credited back to you.

What if I want to change something after we start?

Any change is agreed in writing first, with its cost and effect on the schedule, before the work is done.

FAQ-4Permits & licensed trades

Permits & licensed trades

Do you handle permits, plumbing and electrical?

Plumbing and electrical work is done by licensed tradespeople. We’ll tell you during the consultation whether your project needs a permit, and your proposal shows how permits are handled.

Who does the electrical, plumbing and HVAC work?

Licensed tradespeople. Electrical work is done by licensed electricians and plumbing by licensed plumbers.

FAQ-5Warranty & quality

Warranty & quality

What warranty do you offer?

A 1-year workmanship warranty: for one year from completion, we repair at no cost any defect caused by our installation, including leaks from shower waterproofing we installed. Manufacturer warranties on the products we install pass through to you.

How do you make sure a tile shower won’t leak?

Every shower gets one complete manufacturer waterproofing system: pan, membrane, seams, corners and drain from the same maker, installed to their instructions. Before any tile goes on, we flood-test the shower for 24–72 hours and give you dated photos of the test. See Shower Remodels.

What materials do you use?

Locally sourced wherever we can, like Front Range granite, locally milled timber and beetle-kill pine, plus trusted brands for what goes behind the walls and on them. See Sustainability.
