Common questions
Do you remove the old flooring?
Yes. Old flooring is removed and the subfloor is prepped and leveled before the underlayment, new floor, transitions and trim go in.
Can you refinish my existing floors instead?
Yes. We resurface and refinish existing floors as well as install new ones.
Do you work in condos and HOA buildings?
Yes. We follow your HOA’s rules for work hours and common areas, protect floors and hallways, and clean up every day. For upper-floor units we can install acoustic underlayment to cut noise to the unit below.
What warranty do you offer?
A 1-year workmanship warranty: for one year from completion, we repair at no cost any defect caused by our installation, including leaks from shower waterproofing we installed. Manufacturer warranties on the products we install pass through to you.
